ETA teams once
again grabbed more than their share of the podium at the 2017 OMHA AAA
Championships by capturing 6 of the 9 gold medals awarded over the last 4 weekends.
In addition to the gold medals ETA teams garnered 6 silver and 4 bronze during the championships as
well. Overall 9 of the 13 ETA members medalled in this year’s finals, with 1 centre capturing 3 medals and 5 centres
capturing 2 medals.
Congratulations to all of the following 16 ETA teams who earned OMHA AAA Championship medals.

Good luck to the Markham Waxers Atoms, Ajax-Pickering Raiders PeeWees and York Simcoe Express Bantams when they compete in the Ontario Hockey Federation championships in April.
Also congratulations to the Minor Midget Whitby Wildcats, Ajax-Pickering Raiders and Quinte Red Devils who made a strong showing and represented themselves and the ETA well in the OHL Cup. Whitby won their division and lost a close 2-1 decision in the quarter finals to the eventual tournament finalists.
