ETA's 2017 Showcase Another Success
Submitted By B Schlitt on Monday, December 04, 2017
The Showcase event was developed by the ETA in 2009 to feature the Minor Midget division and the Midget All Stars. The event this year was hosted by the York Simcoe Express in the twin pad Aurora Community Centre and featured all 13 ETA Minor Midget teams, 2 Minor Midget teams from the NOHA and the 25th annual ETA Midget All Star game.

All ETA Minor Midget teams participated in 2 regular season league games. In addition there were 4 exhibition games between ETA teams and the NOHA teams as well as presentations by the OHL, U Sports and the OMHA for the players to attend to help them understand their options post minor hockey.

Over the course of the weekend it was estimated that over 100 scouts from OHL, OHA and universities were in attendance to watch these draft eligible players.
