10 ETA Alumni Selected in 2020 NHL Draft

Congratulations to the former ETA players who were selected in the 2020 National Hockey League draft on October 6th & 7th.

Leading the way was Quinton Byfield (York Simcoe Express) who was selected 2nd overall (1-2) by the Los Angeles Kings. Other first round selections were Cole Perfetti (Whitby Wildcats) by the Winnipeg Jets 10th overall (1-10) and Tyson Foerster (Barrie Jr Colts) (1-23) by the Philadelphia Flyers.


Additional players selected were Ryan O’Rourke (Whitby Wildcats) (2-39) by the the Minnesota Wild, Jack Thompson (Clarington Toros) (3-93) by the Tampa Bay Lightning, Zachary Uens (4-105) (Quinte Red Devils) by the Florida Panthers, Evan Vierling (York Simcoe Express) (5-127) by the New York Rangers, Isaak Phillips (Barrie Jr Colts) (5-141) by the Chicago Blackhawks, Will Cranley (Peterborogh Petes (6-163) by the St Louis Blues and Chad Yetman (6-172) (Whitby Wildcats) by the Chicago Black Hawks.

Best of luck to all of these young men as they pursue their hockey careers.
